Do I need an appointment to visit Sibi Center?

Sibi Day Adult Center Program has an open door policy. We invite you to come at any time

any time we’re open Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. Or, you can also make an

appointment. It's up to you.

Call your Regional Center to speak to your Service Coordinator. Don’t worry if you don’t know

your Service Coordinator’s name. They’ll help you. Tell your Service Coordinator you want to

attend Sibi Center. Our vendor number is H18551.


What kind of day program is Sibi Center?

Sibi Center is an adult development daytime program for adults designed to create a

foundation of support, service and care for you to help make your needs, wants, desires and

dreams realities.


What does it cost to attend?

Your Regional Center pays the cost for you to attend. You don't have to pay anything.


Who will work with me at the Center?

Program Assistants are trained paraprofessionals. Each Program Assistant works with 3

consumers. You’ll get the personalized care and support you need to do your best every day.


Can I attend Sibi Day Adult Center Program?

We work with consumers that have severe to profound intellectual and developmental

disabilities. Some consumers may need help with daily life activities, behavior challenges or

may have cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, or other intellectual and developmental

disabilities. Come and visit. We may be the right program for your special needs.


Does Sibi have a community integration component?

Yes. You’ll be in the community a minimum of 2 hours 2-3 times per week.


What about employment?

Sibi Center helps consumers begin a journey to possible employment by offering prevocational skills training onsite and experiences in the community to help prepare for the next

steps to pre-employment training.


What are the ages of clients attending the day program?

The consumers are 22-69 years old. Recent high school graduates and seniors are welcome.


Does Sibi Center provide transportation?

Sibi doesn’t provide transportation. You and your Regional Center Service Coordinator will

work out transportation to the Center.


Do some consumers use adult diapers?

Yes.


Do some consumers use wheelchairs?

Yes.


Can I attend if I have a medical condition?

We don’t have nursing staff nor doctor’s supervision. Unfortunately, you can’t attend if you

have a condition that requires nursing or doctor care like a colostomy bag or catheter. Other

medical conditions may be acceptable. Please call us. We’ll accommodate you in any way that

we can.


Does Sibi Center provide services to people who may be blind or deaf?

No. Contact your Regional Center Service Coordinator to help you find what the services you

need.


Does Sibi have an evening program?

Sibi doesn’t provide after-hours care. Contact your Regional Center Service Coordinator for

more options.


Do I need an appointment to visit Sibi?

NO appointment is needed. We would love to meet you. We’re open Monday through Friday

8:30 a.m. to 3:00 pm. Our address is 2600 W 54th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90043. Office:
